Hearing Lie Tie’s blunt words, Su Yi furrowed his brows, then let out a cold, bitter smile within. “Unbreakable? Lie Tie, one day I will make you see who is truly unbreakable!”

Su Yi harbored great annoyance toward Lie Tie. In fact, the reason he knew him was precisely because Lie Tie kept opposing him. If Su Yi’s troubles were divided into internal and external, Di Yuan represented the internal threat, while Lie Tie was the external one. Lie Tie was momentarily stunned by her words. Su Yi, on the other hand, thought Lie Feifei’s request was very wise. After all, it was better if fewer people knew about the matter between him and Lie Feifei. Whether it was the intimate relationship they had or the act of retrieving items from the storage ring through Lie Feifei, everything required utmost secrecy. If Lie Tie stayed nearby, he might discover something.

The best solution, of course, was to send Lie Tie away. But Lie Tie was no fool. He glanced between Su Yi and Lie Feifei, then his voice turned serious. “Since the young lady has this wish, I shall obey… but guarding the young lady personally is an order from the clan leader. I dare not disobey.”

Lie Tie frowned, about to reply, but Su Yi cut him off with a mocking tone: “Or is Captain Lie not confident enough to protect Miss Lie Feifei from afar?”

Su Yi’s expression, laced with derision and disdain, ignited a fierce anger within Lie Tie. How dare this mere Su Yi look down on him? No matter what, he wouldn’t show weakness before Su Yi!

“Fine, I’ll follow from behind, so what?”

Lie Tie’s words were not entirely empty threats. With his strength, even from behind he could protect Lie Feifei thoroughly. No one currently dared to assassinate her within the city, and any troublemakers could be handled. If an opponent were stronger, it would make little difference whether he was a step away or far behind.

Moreover, Su Yi was protected by Meiya, and though Lie Tie was unwilling to admit it, no one dared to provoke Su Yi now.

With that, Lie Tie trailed far behind. Su Yi glanced back at him and silently smiled before he and Lie Feifei continued wandering the bustling street lined with stalls and shops. As long as the distance was far enough, Lie Tie might not notice anything.

Walking along the crowded street, Lie Feifei was uncharacteristically silent, her head lowered slightly as she walked quietly. Su Yi glanced at her curiously and truly noticed her attire today.

Her simple white garment was modest, yet it could not conceal her lithe figure. From the side, a few strands of her dark hair lazily draped around her ear, partially veiling her fair neck. The contrast of black hair and white skin made her complexion appear as translucent and radiant as warm jade. Looking downward, the delicate snow-white skin extended to her chest, which rose prominently—subtly revealing hints of her feminine curves...

Such a graceful figure explained why she was counted among the three great beauties of Changling City, coveted by many men. For a moment, Su Yi even entertained the thought: Could Lie Feifei be asking him to take responsibility?

Lie Feifei noticed Su Yi’s scanning gaze and a faint blush crept over her delicate face. She dared not speak, her eyes burning with a heated look that momentarily reminded her of the terrifying ordeal they had shared, making her body flush with warmth.

After a brief silence, she exhaled softly and cast a furtive glance at Su Yi. Tentatively and hesitantly, she whispered, “These past few days, I’ve felt uneasy, like something’s about to happen… and I often feel like you’re going to leave…”

“You think I’m leaving?” Su Yi was startled. Few knew of his plan to leave, and he was the only one who had decided to depart tomorrow. Lie Feifei, no matter how skilled, couldn’t have learned this. Women’s intuition was terrifying indeed.

“You sure have a lot of thoughts,” Su Yi said, locking eyes with her, “but if I really were to leave… what would you do?”

“The oath you swore?” Su Yi’s eyes flickered slightly as his tone grew colder. “Are you thinking of going back on it?”

Feeling the chill in Su Yi’s words and recalling that dreadful near-death experience, Lie Feifei trembled, then quickly looked up at him, saying anxiously, “Of course not! How could I dare go back on it?! That poisonous oath is deadly, and now Meiya is here… breaking it would be a death sentence!”

“Oh, I see.” Su Yi finally understood Lie Feifei’s intentions. She must have witnessed Meiya’s power and come to “pledge loyalty” to him. Though the words might sound harsh, that was likely the truth.

After speaking, Lie Feifei seemed worried Su Yi wouldn’t believe her. Her large eyes glistened, radiating a pitiful yet endearing look. In fact, ever since her life was threatened, the poisonous oath sworn, and her body taken, she no longer harbored any thoughts of defying Su Yi. Meiya’s overwhelming strength only deepened this resolve.

“So, you’re saying you’ll obey my every word now?” Su Yi asked.

“Yes!” Seeing Su Yi’s tone soften, Lie Feifei nodded earnestly.

Su Yi didn’t take such guarantees too seriously. Though she said she’d obey everything, there was bound to be some exaggeration. For example, if he ordered her to kill Lie Chen, she most likely wouldn’t do it. But there was no need to press her on that now.

Su Yi chuckled softly and his gaze roamed over Lie Feifei. “How about this: I’ll make you my mistress. Do you accept?”
