Chapter One Hundred: Human or Demon?!
Chapter Ninety-Nine: A Hermaphrodite?!
Mm-hm...
Pinned helplessly against a tree, the young man kept his eyes tightly shut, and from time to time an unbearable, eerie groan escaped his mouth. Each time it did, the line of blood at the corner of his lips grew darker and more pronounced.
“Ah... Wang Luo, hurry...”
Suddenly, the beautiful figure parted her red lips and urged him on. The young man’s body shuddered violently, then, beyond his control, began to sway in response.
“Ah... hiss... so good... it’s been so long since I felt this good... Wang Luo is almost—”
As the movement quickened and the cries reached their peak, the unrestrained sounds echoed wildly through the forest. Just then, a youth who had been hidden in the shadows for who knew how long, his face twisted in agony and his fingertips dug so hard into his palm that they drew blood, suddenly drew his sword and stabbed toward the beautiful figure just as she was about to erupt in full force.
“Damn it!”
The cries stopped abruptly. A voice of indescribable fury burst from those tempting red lips, and with a flick of her finger, a strange gray flash shot like lightning toward the flying youth, swelling rapidly in his untroubled gaze.
Pshh—
A blood arrow, long held in reserve, suddenly flashed into being and blocked the gray light. When the two met, they emitted a bizarre sound; then the blood arrow exploded, and a blood-red shadow shot out from the forest, black blade in hand, launching a lethal strike together with the youth who had just appeared.
“Damn it!”
She let out another furious hiss. At last, that figure, which inspired endless fantasy, turned around, and on that handsome face there settled a sheet of frost thick with frustrated desire.
“I want you both dead!”
A cold killing intent spread outward. The blood shadow and the youth, both advancing at speed, jolted to a stop and revealed themselves, staring in disbelief at the body before them, unable to resist swallowing hard.
“A hermaphrodite?!”

On the third floor of the Lujis Grand Hotel, a black-clad little boy of about ten leaned lazily against the window, eating all kinds of delicacies as he narrowed his eyes and watched the crowds passing below, muttering to himself.
“The human world really is more comfortable than the monster forest. There’s everything to eat here, but somehow none of it smells as good as the meat that brat Wang Luo grills. I guess it’s because I’ve never actually eaten his roasted meat!”
“I wonder how Wang Luo is doing now. I heard he was still being hunted by a few crawlers, though it seems he managed to escape in the end. Lucky as ever, just like me. Still, I managed to get away from a saint-rank expert and even left that bastard badly wounded. Heh!”
“That damn saint-rank bastard. If he hadn’t found me and fought me, leaving me injured, I wouldn’t have been separated from Wang Luo. He’s the only human I know, and my old man said if I ever had trouble I could go to him for help. But where am I supposed to find him now?”
“Wang Luo’s two beast pets are pretty interesting. After being separated from Wang Luo, they didn’t even return to the monster forest. They actually took over a human and are living it up in the human world. And there’s that little white lion too—wonder where he is now?”
“That damn old hound is such a nuisance, haunting me like a ghost. He’s not very strong, but his nose is sharp. Once I’ve recovered, I’ll give you all a proper lesson and rip your noses off to feed the demon hounds!”
Stretching, the black-clad little boy stood up and grumbled a few irritated lines. As his words faded, his figure gradually dimmed, and then vanished without a trace.
“This guy is injured and still reacts that fast. He keeps playing us for fools every time. We finally found him, and he escaped again!”
Two old men in blood-red robes suddenly appeared where the little boy had vanished. One of them spoke in frustration.
“Let’s hurry and chase after him. As long as we don’t lose him, that’s enough. Our lord is negotiating with others right now, and before long a saint-rank expert will surely come!”
“Mm. He’s badly hurt. This time there’s no way he can escape our lord’s grasp. When that happens, there’ll definitely be rewards for us too!”
As the words fell, two streaks of blood flashed and vanished. The two old men disappeared from the room, and sunlight once again spilled into the lavish chamber, while an eerie black shadow flickered and was gone.

On a fragrant snack street, a figure in black was buying up everything in sight, paying no mind to the chatter around him as he stuffed one delicacy after another into the bag bulging on his back.
Before long, he had swept through every shop on the entire street. Then, carrying bags upon bags of food, he left amid the astonished murmurs of the crowd.
After leaving the food street, the black-clad figure did not hesitate in the least. He headed straight for the best hotel in the city—the Ruski Grand Hotel—and entered one of the rooms on the third floor.
“Hm?”
Suddenly, his running steps came to an abrupt halt. He looked around in alarm, for a somewhat youthful voice was ringing beside his ear.
“Take good care of those two, or else—”
“I will definitely take good care of them. Although they are monsters, they are also my saviors!”
After murmuring a few words under his breath, the black-clad figure continued forward. He believed the owner of that voice would certainly hear him.
Creak—
Opening the door, he glanced at the bathroom, then set the bundles on the table and removed his black outer robe, revealing the half of his face covered in dark patterns beneath. It looked extremely strange; if Wang Luo were here, he might not even recognize the man.
Roar, roar—
A low growl suddenly sounded, and a black blur flashed by. On the table there now sat a cool-looking little black cat. Right after that, a stout little red wolf puppy appeared beside it. The two beasts ignored the black-clad man entirely and threw themselves into battle with the food.
“I’ve gathered a lot of information lately, and I finally found out where Wang Luo has gone!”
At the black-clad man’s words, the two greedy beasts paused. Then they abandoned the delicious food and looked at him with bright excitement, growling for him to continue at once.
“Wang Luo is fine. He has already gone to the Mysterious Heaven Academy, where he won’t suffer any harm!”
Roar, roar—
“Don’t be anxious. This place is far from the Mysterious Heaven Academy—who knows how long it would take to get there on foot? What we need to do now is hunt a large number of magic crystals and exchange them for wealth. Only then can we gather enough money to take the teleportation array and find Wang Luo!”
Hearing the two beasts’ urgent prompting, the black-clad man continued. When he finished, he waited for their response. Having spent a long time with them, he knew they possessed intelligence no weaker than that of humans.
Roar...
Roar...
The two beasts communicated by growling for a while. In the end, they reached an agreement. They waved a paw at the black-clad man, and under his astonished gaze, resumed eating the food—more leisurely than before...
“You’re not planning to go find Wang Luo?”
the black-clad man asked in surprise, somewhat baffled. Right now, he truly did not understand what the two beasts were thinking.
What he did not notice was that, upon hearing this question, the two beasts eating beside him exchanged a glance almost imperceptibly. In each other’s beastly eyes there was a hint of laughter, along with admiration and longing for Wang Luo...
