In the bedroom, Wang Luo felt Reggie, with a lascivious grin, gently lay him on the bed, then stood before him with a grave expression, eyes closed. Reggie's body began to tremble uncontrollably as black mist billowed from his head.

Roar, roar, roar—

At that moment, three earth-shaking dragon roars echoed through the heavens, reverberating into the bedroom. Wang Luo was startled, his spirit invigorated, while the black mist atop Reggie's head instantly recoiled into his body. With a low curse, Reggie vanished from sight.

No sooner had Reggie disappeared than Kinid suddenly materialized in the room. After casting a surprised glance at Wang Luo, he waved a hand at him and vanished once more.

The old mage had just left when Wang Luo realized he could move his body again. He swiftly donned a set of warrior's attire and, without hesitation, raced toward the location of the teleportation array.

"My God, it's a Dragon Knight!"

"What could possibly alarm all three Dragon Knights?"

"I think I've seen that old mage somewhere before."

"Isn't he Kinid, the Holy Mage from a century ago?"

"Another man in black has appeared..."

"Leaving this place is the best option. Who knows what those four are here for? If they're after that token, they might silence witnesses!"

As Wang Luo rushed through the crowd, he glanced up at the sky, his heart filled with anxious thoughts. His speed quickened a notch.

In the sky, three enormous dragons of various colors hovered midair. Upon their backs stood three Dragon Knights, positioned with the old mage at the four cardinal points, encircling the man in black.

"Helu, you have some nerve. How dare you possess Reggie's body and swagger openly through the Welsh Empire? Do you truly take this old bag of bones for a mere decoration?" Kinid addressed the man in black, his voice growing colder. Clearly, Helu's disregard had infuriated him.

"Kinid, you'd best let me go now. If you anger me, I'll self-destruct again. Aren't you here for the token anyway?" Helu's hoarse voice came from within his black robes, utterly unceremonious.

"Hand over the token. Release Reggie, and I might spare you. Otherwise, do you think you can escape in your current state?" Kinid's expression changed slightly at the mention of the token, and he spoke again. The three Dragon Knights beside him looked bewildered, unaware of what this token was that could so affect Kinid.

"The token, eh—"

Helu drew out his words, his gaze shifting toward the teleportation array in Geneva City. At that moment, the array glowed white, and within its light stood a young boy—Wang Luo.

Following Helu's gaze, the four humans and three dragons all turned toward the array. Within, Wang Luo erupted with murderous intent directed at Helu, then vanished in the next instant.

"Heh heh, the token is on him. Kinid, if you have the guts, go chase him!" Helu offered a strange, malicious smile as Wang Luo disappeared, speaking with evident schadenfreude.

"Helu, Gregory is there. If you dare kill him, the dragon race will never forgive you!"

This time, before Kinid could respond, the Red Dragon beneath the Red Dragon Knight spoke first, glaring fiercely at Helu. Its thunderous voice shook the sky. Clearly, the Red Dragon's immense size also contributed to its powerful lungs.

"You mean that foolish dragon? He really thought himself the fastest in the world, but I ran circles around him. Now, who knows where he died, skinned and flayed!" Helu sneered in disdain.

"Helu, this is your last chance. Will you hand over the token or not?" Kinid waved to restrain the furious dragons, his murderous aura rising as he questioned Helu.

"Told you already, the token's on that child. If you don't believe me, that's your problem." Helu shrugged nonchalantly.

"Hmph, ungrateful wretch. Take him down!"

With a cold snort, Kinid addressed the three Dragon Knights. The three dragons, already burning with rage, roared and lunged at Helu, intent on avenging Gregory.

"Explode!"

At that moment, Helu's deep voice rang out. The four humans and three dragons' pupils contracted sharply; they vanished in an instant. Almost simultaneously, a deafening explosion rocked all of Geneva City, its immense energy causing the city's inhabitants to despair.

The four humans and three dragons reappeared, each stationed at a cardinal point around Geneva City. Instantly, shields of various colors enveloped the city, protecting it from the purple lightning streaked with black mist overhead.

Watching Helu's self-destruction in the sky, Kinid frowned deeply. Suddenly, a streak of black light shot out of the explosion like a bolt of lightning. Kinid instantly appeared in its path.

"For you!"

Helu's hoarse voice echoed from within the black light, as a swirling, ethereal orb of purple and black shot toward Kinid. The black light veered away, speeding off in another direction.

Kinid glanced at the departing black light, let out a cold snort, and did not give chase. He grasped the orb Helu had flung at him, and his hands swiftly formed spell seals. Streams of azure light shot into the orb.

As more azure light entered, the orb gradually calmed. The black hue was driven away, and the purple grew more intense. Purple lightning flickered across its surface, automatically dispelling the lingering black mist.

"Lord Kinid, the token is with that child. Hurry and pursue him!"

As most of the black mist was dispelled, the orb suddenly writhed, morphing into Reggie's head. His mouth opened urgently to address Kinid.

Hearing Reggie's words, Kinid's expression darkened. He vanished in an instant, reappearing beneath the wavering shield over Geneva City. Streams of azure light flowed into the shield, gradually stabilizing it.

"You three, pursue the child. I can handle things here alone!"

While casting spell seals, Kinid spoke to the three Dragon Knights. They paused, exchanged glances, nodded, and dashed toward the teleportation array. The three dragons let out low growls and, with a flash of light, transformed into three burly men, following close behind.

Somewhere in an unnamed forest, a gigantic purple dragon was flying low and weakly. Its body was riddled with hideous wounds, each wound shrouded in black poisonous mist that ceaselessly corroded its flesh.

Roar—

Crash—

Suddenly, the wounded purple dragon let out a painful wail and crashed into the woods below, destroying countless plants. This occurred at the very moment Helu self-destructed.

"Damn you, Helu. What have you done to Reggie now..."

Gregory clutched his head in agony, rolling through the forest and cursing softly. For months, Helu had possessed Reggie's body, exploiting the contract between them and nearly tormenting Gregory to death. Though he ultimately escaped, he was utterly exhausted.

His injuries were severe, and in his misery, Gregory failed to notice that not far away, a teenage girl gazed at him in terror...
