“Wang Luo, these are our spoils of war—what are you doing?”
Seeing Wang Luo begin to treat the Tusked Boar, Xilili immediately stepped forward, her voice sharp. She didn’t care at all about talk of submission; whatever Wang Luo wanted to do, she would ruin it, and besides, this whole situation was Wang Luo’s fault to begin with.

“Not interested in arguing with you. Lisa, take them and leave, several peak third-level magical beasts are already heading this way. Consider this your compensation.”

After speaking to Lisa, Wang Luo casually tossed a magical crystal from a peak third-level beast to Xilili, then continued to observe the Tusked Boar, his gaze showing genuine interest. The boar seemed to regard him as another magical beast—otherwise, this display of submission would never have happened.

In the Magical Beast Forest, following Lion Father and Mother, Wang Luo had encountered such situations many times. He couldn’t communicate with the Tusked Boar, but through its gestures and movements, he could still understand its intentions; nine years living with the lions had not been in vain.

“We’ll go ahead—be careful, all right!”

Lisa pulled Xilili, who wanted to protest further, exchanged a glance with Femi, and after leaving a word of warning, the three made for the forest’s edge.

Grunting softly…

The Tusked Boar, having mostly recovered, stood up and grunted, heading toward its den, signaling Wang Luo to follow.

The entrance to the boar’s den was small, and the interior was not spacious, but it allowed Wang Luo to walk through with some effort. What surprised him was how tidy the den was; at the very least, it didn’t reek, nor was it littered with filth.

“What is this…”

Following the boar past its living space and around a bend, Wang Luo stopped dead in his tracks. His vision, unaffected by darkness, revealed a tunnel stretching into the depths of the earth, its end nowhere in sight.

Grunting softly…

The Tusked Boar let out a proud sound and continued leading Wang Luo onward, utterly fearless—clearly, it knew this place well.

The sun was sinking, yet still cast its final golden brilliance, bathing a certain combat arena in Fallen Academy.

“Lisa, Femi, Xilili—describe exactly what happened when you left!”

Glancing at the students seated in the arena, discussing the knowledge they had learned, Harold frowned, coughed lightly, and called the three over.

After thoroughly tormenting Wang Luo up close once more, Harold, in high spirits, had entered the Trial Forest himself. As a teacher, his duty was to protect every student, rescuing them when their lives were in peril.

Every student carried his mark—except Wang Luo. In the Trial Forest, no beast exceeded the fourth level; Wang Luo should never have been in danger. Yet, Wang Luo alone had failed to return.

“Tusked Boar… Hmm, you three head back. I’ll go in for a look.”

Once Lisa and the others returned to their places, Harold briefly repeated the precautions regarding magical crystal absorption and dismissed the group, setting out toward the Trial Forest.

“Lisa, do you think that little rascal Wang Luo got eaten by the Tusked Boar?”
As Harold’s figure vanished, Xilili spoke up, turning to Lisa. Femi’s gaze also shifted to her.

“No, he didn’t.”
Her voice was quiet, but certain. Xilili and Femi might not know Wang Luo’s true strength, but Lisa had gained a rough understanding.

At least sixth-level. Only then could he evade that spiritual sweep; though that spiritual force was feeble and unrefined, it was still seventh-level. And its owner had originally been…

In the pitch-black tunnel, man and boar pressed on. After rounding a corner, a blue light suddenly appeared ahead, dazzling in the darkness.

Grunting excitedly…

The Tusked Boar let out a gleeful cry and dashed forward, Wang Luo following close behind, eyes fixed on the golden light—their destination, evidently.

The golden light grew larger in Wang Luo’s vision as they drew nearer. The boar, ever since glimpsing the blue glow, had grown increasingly excited, letting out enthusiastic grunts.

Gradually, Wang Luo could make out a massive silhouette within the blue light. At the same time, a strange fragrance wafted to his nose, sending a shudder through his body, filling him with an indescribable comfort.

“That’s something good…”

Wang Luo instantly made up his mind, but heightened his vigilance, closely observing his surroundings. Although the boar seemed familiar with the place, and danger appeared absent, caution was still warranted.

The blue light drew nearer. Now Wang Luo saw its true form—a blue serpent, dozens of meters long and thick as a water barrel, its body glowing.

The peculiar aroma intensified, and Wang Luo felt a mounting heat—a familiar sensation, though he couldn’t place it.

Grunting…

Suddenly, the Tusked Boar let out a wild, excited cry and charged toward the blue serpent, startling Wang Luo.

“Uh…”

With eyes shining red from excitement, the boar leaped onto the lower body of the blue serpent. What happened next left Wang Luo stunned and utterly bewildered.

A small opening appeared on the serpent’s body where the boar landed, and a mushroom-shaped object sprang forth. The Tusked Boar eagerly extended its tongue and began licking it…

Wang Luo’s body shuddered violently; suddenly, he realized why this inner heat felt so familiar—it was exactly the same as when Kiel had completely ensnared him.

Exhaling deeply, Wang Luo forced himself to calm down, suppressing the heat that threatened to overwhelm him, quickly retreating.

“Such a strange place—how has no one ever heard of it?”

In the dark tunnel, Harold moved like lightning, pondering as he walked. Suddenly, he stopped abruptly, grabbing a figure rushing blindly outward and, almost unconsciously, pulled it into his embrace.

“Wang Luo, why are you running so—wait, why is your body so hot?”

Holding Wang Luo close, Harold paused mid-question, suddenly noticing the intense heat radiating from Wang Luo’s body, his ragged breathing, and his unstable aura.

“Let go!”

Held tightly by Harold, Wang Luo’s body stiffened instantly, the internal heat intensifying. He suppressed his urges with all his strength, striking at Harold with both hands.

“Ha, little rascal, haven’t you learned anything? Did you forget how I taught you just now?”

Harold didn’t retreat; instead, he advanced, blocking Wang Luo’s attack with one hand and holding him even tighter with the other, murmuring provocatively in Wang Luo’s ear, his breath warm against Wang Luo’s flushed earlobe.

“Uh—”

Suddenly, Harold felt something hard pressing against his lower body. He froze, staring in disbelief at the person in his arms, unable to conceal his delight and deep confusion.
