Chapter 98: Qier? Gedda!
Chapter Ninety-Seven: Qier? Garda!
Bang—
Two fists, glowing with a blood-red aura, struck simultaneously, the impact echoing fiercely as both figures staggered backward in disarray.
Crack—
A thick tree groaned in pain, shaking violently but fortunately not breaking as it blocked the airborne figure.
Cough, cough—
Damon coughed twice, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth. He looked across at the figure who had landed unscathed by leveraging the tree, his eyes shining with inexplicable excitement.
“So you really do possess blood energy. I never expected you’d have so much, but it seems you don’t know how to use it properly, hehe!”
Hearing Damon’s laughter, Wang Luo frowned. He had just finished eating roasted meat when Damon, who had been lurking in the shadows, emerged and attacked without warning, forcing him to reveal his blood energy.
“The West Court’s genius, Damon?”
A melodious voice suddenly sounded, and both Wang Luo and Damon’s expressions changed dramatically as they looked toward the white-clad figure emerging from the forest.
“Qier!”
Sensing that familiar aura, Wang Luo’s eyes turned cold. He whispered softly, then, like a wild beast, lunged at Qier, a fierce killing intent radiating from his body.
Swish—
A bone sword flashing with blood light appeared, stabbing directly at Qier, utterly disregarding her breathtakingly beautiful face.
“Wang Luo!”
Qier smiled slightly, her beauty unmatched. Mid-air, Wang Luo’s body froze at the sound of her voice, and he crashed heavily to the ground.
“Ugh… Qier, what did you do to me?!”
His head splitting with pain, Wang Luo rolled on the ground, clutching his head and screaming in agony. He hadn’t expected that a single encounter would leave him utterly defeated by Qier, powerless to resist, and so wretchedly humiliated.
Swish—
A blood spear, forged from pure blood, appeared suddenly, thrusting at Qier. Immediately after, a black sword enveloped in blood light flickered in the dark forest, exuding a bloodthirsty glow.
“Out of my way!”
Qier turned and glanced coldly at the incoming blood spear. Her lips parted, and the spear exploded instantly. A piercing scream echoed through the blood mist, and a disheveled figure fled swiftly into the forest, vanishing in a blink.
“Qier, Qier, you’re really fast—”
A shout came from the woods. A blue figure flickered into view, but before he could finish speaking, Stefan saw Wang Luo writhing on the ground and, not far away, a pig and a monkey trembling on the earth. His words halted abruptly.
“Qier, what’s going on?”
“Nothing much. I overestimated Wang Luo. I thought he’d broken through to the seventh level, but he’s still at the pinnacle of the sixth. I won’t need you anymore. You can go.”
Without so much as a glance at Stefan, Qier walked toward Wang Luo, her melodious voice causing Stefan’s expression to shift repeatedly, eventually igniting into furious flames. He hadn’t expected that Qier intended to use him.
A blue radiance surged from his body, and a battle aura as strong as the seventh level emanated from Stefan. Qier, approaching Wang Luo, paused, then slowly turned around.
“A breakthrough at this moment?!”
A flicker of surprise flashed through Qier’s eyes as she spoke indifferently. She extended her slender hand; crimson energy gathered at her fingertips, wavering. A strange smile quietly blossomed at her lips.
“Go!”
A low command sounded in her heart. Crimson arrows shot from her fingers, piercing Stefan’s blue battle aura with ease and entering his body. Stefan, in the midst of his breakthrough, shuddered, and his eyes snapped open.
“Damn!”
He cursed under his breath. Furious, Stefan conjured a blue sword and thrust it straight at Qier, a lewd grin in his eyes.
“Hmph!”
With a cold snort, Qier’s fingers shifted, casting several incantations in an instant. A gray sphere tinged with crimson appeared and, in the next moment, materialized before Stefan. In his terrified gaze, it exploded.
“Ugh—!”
A strange, suppressed growl echoed from within the exploding mist. Without even looking, Qier turned back toward Wang Luo. She inadvertently noticed that the tusked pig’s gaze at the mist was oddly intense, almost lustful.
“Hm?!”
Seeing this, Qier paused again and glanced at the vague figure inside the mist. Her lips curled with a wicked smile. With a thought, the mist spread, enveloping the tusked pig and the little black monkey.
“Qier, what are you doing? This is the Trial Forest of the Fallen Academy—people are monitoring us all the time!”
All this happened in mere seconds. Wang Luo’s eyes revealed unconcealed shock; in such a short time, Qier’s strength had reached a terrifying level, and even seventh-level power was no match for her.
“Did you not know that the monitor of this Trial Forest is me? Oh, I forgot to tell you, I am no longer Qier.”
“Garda!”
Upon hearing this, Wang Luo’s eyes narrowed sharply, his face filled with shock. His mind raced, calculating every possible outcome and escape route. It had been a long time since he faced such a life-or-death crisis.
“Smart. If Qier hadn’t delayed with her strange tricks and spared you, you’d have been drained dry long ago; there’d be no need for me to intervene. Now, there’s no one left who can save you. Prepare to be drained by me!”
Lifting Wang Luo, Garda, possessing Qier’s body, trembled her finger, and Wang Luo’s clothes tore apart, exposing his lean body and, compared to his peers, a snake that rivaled an adult’s.
“You—”
Humming noises…
Groans…
Just as Wang Luo opened his mouth to speak, he heard the tusked pig’s excited sounds from the mist, noises it only made when gnawing the giant mushroom of the blue demon snake. Immediately after, Stefan’s strange voice echoed, mixed with confusion, pain, excitement, and pleasure—it was complex.
“Garda, aren’t you afraid of divine retribution? How can you commit such a heinous crime that outrages both gods and men?”
Wang Luo’s face turned icy cold as he stared fiercely at Garda, his voice filled with irrepressible anger and murderous intent. This had crossed the moral line—no human could commit such bestial acts.
“This is ‘outraging gods and men’? Hah, what I’m about to do next is truly worthy of that name!”
Garda’s face was full of lewdness. As she spoke, she pinned Wang Luo against a tree, pressing tightly against him. Her hot breath sprayed at Wang Luo’s ear, and tendrils of pink gas seeped into his body.
