Chapter 131: I Would Fall from Heaven for You, Part 16

“Then what about you?” Huang Ze looked at her and asked, “If I grew taller, would you like me?”
Yue Yixian: “…”
She backed away several steps, staring at the child in utter shock. “You… like me?”
“Mm, I like you.” Huang Ze moved closer. He was a head shorter than Yue Yixian, and he asked again, “If I grow taller, will you like me?”
Yue Yixian’s thoughts drifted away.
For a moment, she seemed to return to her high-school days, when a little boy with a scarlet face had once shouted at her, “If I grow taller, will Senior Sister like me?”
“Who are you looking at through me?” Huang Ze’s cold voice dragged her back to the present.
“Er, Huang Ze, calm down. There’s really nothing about me worth liking,” Yue Yixian said helplessly.
“There is.” Huang Ze answered without hesitation. “You get good grades and study well. You can solve the problems I can’t, and besides, you’re very pretty.”
His voice dropped especially low on the final two words. If Yue Yixian had not possessed extraordinary hearing, she would never have caught them.
What a calamity. She covered her face with both hands. She plainly looked utterly ordinary after putting on her glasses, so how could anyone still like her? She should never have done quite so well on the exams.
“Do you like Lin Xuan?” Huang Ze asked again.
“I already told you, I don’t like him.”
“An Zihui?”
“No. How could I like that flirt who treats every girl like central heating?”
The corner of Yue Yixian’s mouth twitched. Ever since Hania had told Raphael to live well and indulge himself, Raphael had turned into a man who flirted with women as though his life depended on it.
Come to think of it, the one he flirted with most seemed to be An Mila.
“Weren’t you the one who liked An Mila?” Yue Yixian asked, remembering something.
“…I don’t like her.” Huang Ze’s expression grew complicated. “Why would you think I liked her?”
“You…” You stopped fighting Gabriel that night when you saw her.
Yue Yixian halted halfway through her sentence. She could not let him know that she had seen his transformed appearance, so she forcibly changed direction. “You were always staring at An Mila during class.”
“I was looking at you.” Huang Ze earnestly corrected her misunderstanding.
Yue Yixian: “…”

“I’m sorry, but I really do have someone I like!” Yue Yixian told him. “The reason you’ve developed feelings for me is just youthful hormones. You don’t truly like me, understand?” Yue Yixian tried to change the boy’s mind.
“Who is that person?” Huang Ze gritted his teeth. “What does he look like?”
Yue Yixian thought about it. Perhaps showing him would help him give up. She took out her phone and opened the photo album, intending to show him a picture she had taken earlier. When the image of Yahweh appeared—with silver hair and blue eyes—she worried that it might frighten the child, so she used magic to change the hair and eyes to black. Once altered, the figure looked even more like Ke Yuandao.
“There. Isn’t he handsome?” Yue Yixian held out the phone.
Huang Ze accepted it, filled with resentment, and secretly made up his mind: whoever the man was, he would memorize his appearance, then quietly kill him when he got the chance.
But when he saw the photograph on the phone, he froze. Then he abruptly looked up at Yue Yixian. She rubbed her nose and asked, “Isn’t he very handsome?”
“He… he is very handsome.” All the anger in Huang Ze vanished. He returned the phone to Yue Yixian, coughed several times, and repeated, “Very handsome!”
Hearing something strange in his tone, Yue Yixian warily backed away several steps. “He’s mine.”
She could hardly be blamed for being cautious. Her adorable one simply looked far too good in this world. This was a world of people obsessed with beauty; it did not matter whether one was a man or a woman—looking good was all that counted.
“Mm, he’s yours.” Huang Ze nodded emphatically, the corners of his mouth rising despite himself.
Yue Yixian could no longer make sense of the boy’s behavior. “I’m leaving now. And don’t like me anymore, all right? Bye-bye.”
Standing in the street, Huang Ze watched her retreating figure. The skin behind his ears, hidden beneath his tousled hair, had turned completely red.
So the person she liked was…
…
“He’s mine!!”
That clear, resolute voice echoed through his mind.
“Your Majesty?” A voice pulled Lucifer back to his senses.
Lucifer raised his head and looked at Baal before him. Remembering something, he frowned in displeasure. “What is it?”
“Will Your Majesty be attending the party this time?” Baal asked in his evening attire. “Gabriel and the others have come as well.”
“No… I’ll go.” Lucifer changed course midway through his reply.
“Very good. I’ll have everything prepared.” Baal was delighted. He looked over his sovereign once more and, seeing that His Majesty seemed to be in a good mood, asked, “Have you found Angel Moon?”
“Mm. I found her.” The corners of Lucifer’s mouth lifted slightly.
“Congratulations, Your Majesty.” Baal considered the matter, then asked, “Shall we bring her soul back to Hell now?”
“No need. We can take our time. I want to make certain first.” Lucifer shook his head. Then, recalling something, he asked, “Have you discovered which angels have descended from Heaven?”

“Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Hania,” Baal answered one by one.
“Have they come into contact with…” Lucifer waved a hand. “Never mind. You may go.”
Baal asked no further questions and respectfully withdrew.
If she was a reincarnation, where had the portrait come from? Lucifer’s brows drew together slightly.
Perhaps his former colleagues were interfering again. He would have to defeat them one by one and send them back to Heaven.
Lucifer paid no heed to Raphael and Hania. Even though they had been seraphim for nearly ten thousand years, he believed that the two of them together would still be no match for a single Gabriel.
Gabriel had once been his friend, while Michael had formerly served as his adjutant. Both possessed formidable combat abilities. Michael, in particular, had grown even more powerful after becoming the Seraphim Commander.
Three of them had already been found at the school, but Michael remained nowhere to be seen. Apart from appearing once to rescue Gabriel, he had completely eluded the little demons’ search. If the strongest of them all was hiding in the shadows, it would be troublesome.
Lucifer set down the wineglass in his hand. Within seconds, cracks spread across the once-intact glass until it shattered into countless pieces.
Lin Xuan’s house was enormous and dazzlingly magnificent. Every object within it seemed to proclaim the same fact to every guest:
My master is rich!
The students from the school moved about with extreme caution, terrified that they might accidentally break something they could never afford to replace.
By the time Yue Yixian arrived, the hall was already bustling.
She casually handed the gift she had picked out at random to the attendant waiting at the entrance.
Then she saw Lin Xuan dressed in a purple formal suit. An Mila, in a white dress, stood beside him. From a distance, they looked like a perfect match—a handsome man and a beautiful woman.
Yue Yixian found a corner and settled there, eating pastries and drinking juice as she pondered silently.
Hmm. An Mila and Lucifer had successfully gotten together. They should be able to change worlds soon.
“Madam, I can sense the master’s presence,” Dog Leftover suddenly emerged in her mind.
Yue Yixian’s spirits lifted. “Really? Where?”
