Chapter 138: Willing to Fall for You 22
Gabriel looked slightly off at the moment, her gaze fixed on Le Yixian as if looking at a bitter enemy.
"Ga—" Before Le Yixian could finish, Gabriel pressed her finger against Le Yixian's forehead. Instantly, the world turned pitch black before Le Yixian's eyes, and she passed out cold.
"Did you wipe her memory?" Raphael appeared beside her and asked.
"Hmph, you think I want to waste divine power?" Gabriel sneered. "Since he already erased the memories of the amusement park, why shouldn't I erase the memories from here? It would be best if she never remembers a thing and just drops dead, so she stops bringing trouble... stops bringing trouble to demons."
"What should we do now, then?" Raphael asked. "She's been sticking close to that entity."
"..." Gabriel fell silent, her mood quite foul. "Where on earth did Michael run off to anyway?"
"No idea," Raphael spread his hands. "I heard she went back to heaven."
"Why run back there? She'd be more helpful figuring out a solution." Gabriel was deeply displeased.
Raphael stroked his chin, as if a thought had struck him, and snapped his fingers. "I've got it!"
"What?"
"A solution!" Raphael said with a beaming smile. "I just don't know if you guys dare to actually do it."
With that, he leaned in close to Gabriel and whispered a few words in her ear. Gabriel's eyes lit up slightly. "That's a good plan."
"The question is, who goes?" Raphael said. "After all, doing this will offend that entity, and if he gets angry, we'll all be reduced to dust."
"Naturally, it'll be you and Haniel; the two of you are males," Gabriel said matter-of-factly. "Don't worry, in the eastern territories, he can't just go around beating people up arbitrarily."

When Le Yixian woke up, she found herself slumped over the desk in her room. She stretched lazily and looked down at the practice workbook in front of her, still completely blank.
Strange, how did I fall asleep? Le Yixian felt something was slightly amiss.
Her gaze casually swept over the small desk clock, and upon seeing the time, she inwardly cursed in sheer disbelief—her assignment papers weren't finished yet.
Having no spare time to dwell on other matters, she buried her head and started writing.
That previous Mary Sue world was so much better; there wasn't any homework at all.
Why on earth did she get her hands itchy after not taking exams for so long and accidentally score first place?!
Maintaining the persona of a top academic student was truly exhausting work.
Yet, on second thought, if she hadn't taken first place, her little cutie wouldn't have noticed her, and she wouldn't have noticed him either.
This feeling was almost as if someone had deliberately tried to drive a wedge between her and her little cutie, preventing them from recognizing each other.
After rushing through the homework, it was already close to four in the morning.
Le Yixian let out a yawn.
Although this body was that of an angel, Le Yixian, possessing a human consciousness, was still accustomed to sleeping.
Yawning again, she slung her schoolbag over her shoulder and walked into the classroom, only to find the atmosphere inside rather abnormal.
Logically speaking, with final exams approaching and the southern region successfully entering winter, the mood in the classroom had been extremely heavy these past few days.
Yet this time, Le Yixian found the class atmosphere exceptionally... lively.
As soon as she entered, quite a few classmates stared at her with glowing eyes, as if looking at some rare creature.
When she walked back to her seat, she finally understood why.
Atop her desk sat a massive bouquet of vibrant red roses, looking easily like ninety-nine of them.
There was a card attached to it. At first, Le Yixian thought it was a gift from her little cutie, but after reading the message, she didn't hesitate for a second. She picked up the bouquet, walked straight over to the trash can, let go, and dropped the flowers right on top of the garbage. Thank goodness her little cutie hadn't arrived at the classroom yet.
Otherwise, he definitely would have gotten jealous.
Her classmates witnessed the entire process and were utterly stunned by Le Yixian's crisp and decisive maneuver.
To throw away such a huge bouquet of flowers without a second thought and completely ignore it—she truly lived up to her reputation as the class monitor.
Le Yixian sat back down in her seat, pulled out her phone, and opened the QQ group chat to see what those three fellows were up to.
As soon as she opened the group, she saw a message Raphael had just posted:
*Starlight Emerald: Holy crap, she threw the flowers away.*
*Village Flower: What? Didn't she read the card? She must not have known it was from me.*
*Starlight Emerald: No, she read the card and then threw the flowers straight onto the garbage can.*
*Village Flower: Then she must have thought it was someone playing a prank on her, not believing that the campus heartthrob is pursuing her.*
*Starlight Emerald: Give it up. She probably thinks you're too fickle; everyone in the whole school knows your girlfriends change once a month.*
*Fight Me: I think so too. Raphael, you're up.*
*Starlight Emerald: Watch me.*
Le Yixian silently watched the antics of these angelic beings, feeling somewhat bewildered.
Just as she was about to type a message to ask why, she sensed someone approaching. She put her phone down and saw Raphael walking over holding a Chinese literature workbook. He bent down, leaned in close, and deliberately lowered his voice. "Class Monitor, I don't really understand one of the classical texts in the literature exercises. Could you teach me?"
Goosebumps instantly erupted all over Le Yixian. She picked up a book and smacked him right in the face as he tried to lean in closer. "What are you doing?"
"Ow," Raphael clutched his nose where he'd been struck, a look of grievance on his face. "Class Monitor, why did you hit me? I just wanted to ask a question."
Le Yixian's hair stood on end. "Speak normally."
"Alright, I'll be straight with you. Class Monitor, are you free after school today?" Raphael stared straight at Le Yixian and even blinked at her.
"Are you planning to pick a fight with me after school?" Le Yixian asked expressionlessly.
"No, I'm asking you out to dinner. There's something I want to tell you," Raphael continued blinking.
"Not free," Le Yixian lowered her head. "Classmate An Zihui, I suggest you go see an ophthalmologist. Constantly blinking like that probably means something's wrong with your eyes."
Raphael: "..."
Just as he was about to say something else, Le Yixian slid her phone screen right under his nose and asked, "Explain. What are you guys trying to pull?"
When Raphael saw the contents of the screen, his eyes widened. His pupils darted back and forth between the phone interface and Le Yixian's face, sheer disbelief written all over him.
"Finished reading?" Le Yixian withdrew her phone.
"Holy crap, how is it you?" Raphael expressed that he was thoroughly terrified.
"What is?" A crisp, youthful voice suddenly sounded.
Le Yixian and Raphael snapped their heads around in unison to see Huang Ze standing not far away, staring at Raphael with a forced, mirthless smile.
"Huang Ze, you're here. An Zihui was just asking the class monitor to go out for dinner after school!" a helpful classmate eagerly provided context.
"And this morning, campus heartthrob Guo Junshuai personally delivered ninety-nine red roses to the class monitor!" added another helpful classmate.
"Is that so?" Huang Ze's dark eyes swept over the two figures standing intimately close together, the corners of his mouth pulled into a straight line. Anyone could tell he was deeply displeased.
Struck by that deadly gaze, Raphael's spine stiffened. He quickly retreated a few steps, putting plenty of distance between himself and Le Yixian. "Haha, class is about to start, haha!!!"
